So, with PlayStation 4’s update for Resident Evil 2 now live (and with the others rolling out), many people are making their way back to the streets of Raccoon City in search of the elusive letter left by Jill Valentine.
While the game is fairly vast in its own way, with many a nook and cranny, you’ll be surprised at how simple finding the letter ends up being in the end.
First things first: you need to be Leon. The letter can only be found in his scenario. And you know what that means.
It’s in Kendo’s Gun Shop.
If you’ve played through the game at least once, you know that you arrive at Kendo’s after escaping through the garage into the streets. Once you enter, make your way to where you grab the Long Barrel attachment for the shotgun, then go behind it.
On the counter, there’s a suspiciously open book or ledger. Prior to this update, this book was simply open. Which is a seemingly unnecessary detail to include if you had no intention of using it.
In that book rests the letter. Picking it up nets you the achievement you’re looking for, and it’s contents, a letter from Jill to Kendo.
