We’ve talked at some length about Invader Studios and their throwback survival horror game Daymare: 1998. Putting you primarily into the shoes of Liev, an operative of H.A.D.E.S, the game originally began life as a Resident Evil 2 remake.
This experience has been on PC for about a year now, but Invader Studios has finally gotten it on to consoles, making it now available for all.
Daymare: 1998 has officially released today on PS4 and Xbox One. This marks the first time a retro survival horror game has made it to the living room (outside of maybe Steambox).
While there’s, of course, the standard edition with just the game, there’s also the special physical only Black Edition.
Daymare: 1998 Black Edition
The Daymare: 1998 Black Edition will be coming with a lot of fancy stuff, all of which is physical goods.
With the Black Edition comes character cards depicting the characters within. There’s also a collectible pin set, as well as a collectible sticker set. These both are emblazoned with the H A.D.E.S. logo, as well as the Hexacore company seal. While the physical copies are still up in the air, you can go right now to PSN or Xbox Marketplace and pick the game up digitally, or if you’re PC and late to the game, you can get it through Steam.
