If you’re on top of the news, you know that Italy has been hit particularly hard by the viral pandemic. Set upon swiftly and brutally, the peninsular country has suffered more than many of its neighbors.
To offset that, many companies have been philanthropic enough to provide the Italian people with, at the very least, some free entertainment. The most humorous of examples is PornHub providing free premium membership to Italian citizens until the lockdown is over.
In a similar entertainment-themed vein, Invader Studios([wp-svg-icons icon=”twitter” wrap=”i”]@InvaderDevs) has decided to provide their survival horror game Daymare: 1998 for Italian gamers to play.
Invader Studios actually has a lot of sympathy for the Italian populace, seeing as how they’re part of it. Their publisher, Destructive Games, is Polish themselves, but have agreed with Invader’s wishes to provide their seminal horror game for free.
Daymare: 1998 Steam Keys
For any Italian fans wanting to receive one of the 10,000 available Steam keys for Daymare: 1998, you have to redeem your copy between 14:00 April 21st until 18:00 April 24th.
Gestures like this are pretty cool, and something you can only really ever see on the indie level. If you haven’t already, read up on Daymare: 1998, either through our multiple articles or through Invader themselves.
Support this kind of behavior, folks.
