It’d be an understatement to say that the community reaction to Project REsistance is a bit mixed. I don’t know that I’ve seen (or participated in) a more contentious debate for quite some time.
That being said, one of the chief concerns among detractors has been put to bed: whatever REsistance is, it’s not just what we’ve been shown.
Producer Masachika Kawata had a nice little conference on Thursday, talking a bit about the design and concept behind REsistance. Oh, also, it’s a working title and there’s an offline component as well. No big deal.
While the producer clearly thinks this is single-slide news, I’m sure many others will be much happier to hear it. Best guess is that Project REsistance, as many have guessed, is simply the development title, being used to hide what the rest of the game will contain.
