Reload the MGL Grenade Launcher Faster in Resident Evil 3

Resident Evil 3 remake’s MGL Grenade Launcher packs a punch, but at the cost of valuable time while reloading.

Sure it’s awesome to one hit kill most enemies, or deal some massive damage with crowd control, but what about when that drum runs out or you’re out of the ammo type equipped?

What if you could reload it instantly?

Well, you can. All it takes is a little practice. So fire up Resident Evil 3 and follow the steps below.

If you’re carrying multiple types of grenades you can press to swap to the next type in rotation, which is visible in the bottom right next to the ammo counter. Swapping requires Jill to complete a loading animation before you’re ready to use the weapon again.

However, you can load instantly by loading a new grenade type and immediately equipping another weapon from your weapon shortcuts then immediately reequipping the grenade launcher. Now you’re ready to rock and roll with a fully loaded weapon.

Now if you’re carrying more than two types of grenades it can get a little tricky, but all you have to do is cycle through until the desired rounds are ready to load then repeat the steps above.

Now you’re ready to bring on the BOOM even faster as you blast your way through Resident Evil 3.
