RE fans were greeted this morning to the second trailer of the Resident Evil 3 remake scheduled to release on April 3, 2020.
First shown on Resident Evil‘s official social media and website, the trailer gives us a complete look at the Nemesis as well as his arsenal. In addition to his rocket launcher from the original, Nemesis will now be sporting a flamethrower to use against our heroes and they traverse the city.
Along with Nemesis, we are also given our first look at the Hunters who will also be returning in April to the remake and they are just as terrifying as ever. This sequence in the trailer also further confirms Carlos as a playable character.
Also to note, along with Carlos we see a lot more of the U.B.C.S., Umbrella’s mercenary team, in the trailer. As before we see Mikhail, but this time around we also got a more extensive look at Nikolai and Tyrell and their interactions with Jill and Carlos.
Jill and Nemesis
We also saw a lot of interaction between Jill and the Nemesis. After she separates from Carlos as a distraction we see her running and climbing away from his flamethrower attacks as he uses his tentacle as a makeshift grappling hook in order to chase her through an unfinished building, leading to a rooftop encounter.
The trailer ended on a climatic note with Jill running into the Nemesis with a car and him standing up before fading to black.
With the April only 80 days away, the team here at Biohazard Declassified is counting down the days with excitement, and we’ll be keeping up with all the latest news and updates!
