James Cameron, the Oscar-winning filmmaker said in an interview that the video game adaptation Resident Evil (2002) is among his favorite “guilty pleasure” movies. The director for The Terminator and Aliens has told Empire that he’s rewatched Paul W.S. Anderson’s movie during thus years infamous quarantine.
“One of my guilty-pleasure films that I actually think is quite beautifully made is Resident Evil”, the director declares.
Cameron went on to hail the performance of Michelle Rodriquez in the film, stating that her ability to move and act like a feral creature was joyful, to which we can all agree.
“Watching Michelle Rodriguez in that film, moving like this feral creature, is joyful.”

Cameron, who was currently in the midst of making his billion-dollar Avatar sequels when the pandemic hit New Zealand, says that the sequels still remain on track to hit their release dates at some point through 2027.
