About a week ago, we talked about Capcom’s statements regarding Resident Evil Village and what platforms it will release on. While they didn’t commit to anything, they did say that a PS4/Xbox One version of the game could potentially be made.
Now, thanks to a potential leak through online retailer PlayAsia, it looks like they’ve possibly decided to go through with that. Perhaps entirely on accident, they’ve posted pre-orders for Resident Evil Village, including ones for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Resident Evil Village Listing
This hardly counts as confirmation, in fairness. Perhaps they’re jumping the gun and creating a listing for it just in case. That being said, it’s not impossible that they know something we don’t, especially as PlayAsia has a verified Twitter account and has been in business for over 17 years.

The listing price for the game through PlayAsia is $70 for next-gen and $60 for current-gen. This seems to be the new model, sadly, as future titles seem to be popping up more and more with that extra $10 tagged on.
However, as with all potential leaks, this isn’t official until we hear Capcom say it is. We’ll keep our eyes on this in the meantime.
