Latest Resident Evil news from Capcom and the community.
All of the latest (and most creditable) leaks and rumors from all over the Resident Evil and survival horror communities.
If you’ve played the Resident Evil 3 demo, then you may have noticed a key change from 2: the knives no longer have durability.
In fairness, the addition of knife breaking was a bit of a surprise to those who played the originals. The knives of old were your singular constant, there even when your ammo ran out.
The fact that they’ve brought their indestructible nature back means that knife-only runs will be much easier. It also means that you won’t be defenseless unless you choose to be.
Peter Fabiano([wp-svg-icons icon=”twitter” wrap=”i”]@PFabiano) said as much, calling it “always something you can rely on”. The choice to make the knife a solid backup choice was clearly deliberate.
You can get your hands on this indispensable tool now in the Resident Evil 3 demo, and you can wait to play the real deal on April 3rd.
